Surfing in Isla Margarita and Sucre

Isla Margarita is located on the offshore of Venezuela and is known for having stunning beaches, beautiful mountains and green lush vegetation. The island is also famous for the party scene that attracts many local and international tourists. The waves in this area are usually small but fun making Isla Margarita a perfect destination for beginners. Most of the waves are generated by easterly wind swells and sometimes a long period swell coming from the North Atlantic wrap around the West Indies and reaches this shores.
