Surfing in Guayas and Manabi

Guayas and Manabi are located in the central coast of Ecuador and are known for having less crowds and some powerful beach breaks that in the right condition can have world class waves. There are also remote left and right hand breaks.

The best surf spots are Coito, El Pelado, Engabao, Fae, La Bahia, La Chueca, Puerto Cayo, Punta Carnero, San Lorenzo and San Mateo.
