Nomad Surfers Terms & Conditions

By making a reservation with an accommodation provider, you accept and agree to the relevant payment, cancellation and no-show policy of that accommodation provider, and to any additional (delivery) terms and conditions of the accommodation provider that may apply to your reservation or during your stay. The initial reservation deposit paid to Nomadsurfers is non refundable under any circumstance.

 

If you wish to cancel or change your reservation, please contact the accommodation (details in the booking confirmation email). Please note that besides the initial deposit, you may be charged for your cancellation under the accommodation cancellation policy.

 

We recommend that you carefully read the cancellation, pre-payment and no-show policy of the accommodation provider before making your reservation or make further payments that may be required.

 

The participants yield the image rights of the pictures/videos taken while attending the camps, independently anywhere in the world, and expressly authorises Nomad Surfers to its diffusion and reproduction.

 

Please note that the Ranking is created through a fully automated ranking system (algorithm) and is based on multiple criteria. The guests after they have travelled may leave their review on our website to inform other customers of your opinion on the service and quality of accommodation. Nomadsurfers reserves the right to adjust or remove reviews at our sole discretion.

 

Making a booking with us will automatically add your email address to our subscribers list to receive further promotions.

DEPOSITS & INVOICES

  • All deposits are non-refundable.
  • All the balance bill must be paid by Cash (USD or Euro) in the check-in. And the extras costs in the check-out.
  • Rates and prices may need to be adjusted without notice, due any circumstance social, political, religious or beyond our control.
  • All prices are including all local taxes and must be paid for each guest.
  • If any discrepancy were found in our invoice, you should report back to us as soon as possible, so the necessary corrections can be done on time. Invoices will not be changed within 5 days to arrival day.

 

MANAGEMENT’S RIGHTS

  • The Management reserves the right to interrupt the stay of the guest if the same does not follow such norms, or even in the case of their conduct to harm the peace or safety of other guests.
  • The Management reserves the right to request the evacuation of the rooms or any other area of the premises forthwith, when it is verified the use by people drunk, for illegal activities, contrary to morals or good manners. (Any consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited on Himmafushi due the Islamic Culture). Should this happen, no refund or compensation would be paid to the guest, and the guest house will have no further responsibility for your holiday arrangements (including any return travel and/or tickets).
  • The guest house is not responsible for any kind of health problems arising from environmental factors during your stay.
  • The Management or any person connected to the guest house cannot under any situation extend a visa, and will not be held liable for an overstay due to forgetfulness, mistake or delay.
  • The guest house is not responsible for airline board fees or baggage policies.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • The client is not entitled to claim on the anticipated value. There are no refunds or partial refunds given for early departures or no-show for any reason.
  • The client is non-entitled to outstanding credit to be used as accommodation at any circumstances after the check-in.

COMMITMENT OF THE GUESTS

  • Respect the schedules and rules of operation of the services offered.
  • To bring the attention of the managers any irregularities occurred in the premises of the guest house, in order to adopt the appropriate measures.
  • When any employee of this establishment is silent and does not answer promptly, the guests are requested to take their complaints to the Management, who will take immediate action.
  • The guests and their eventual visitors, have to respond jointly to the breach of rules and conditions of lodging that generate material or immaterial damages to the guest house, employees and third parties. Therefore, in the event, debited in the account in the form of indemnification with market replacement prices. (Available for consultation with The Management).
  • Hazardous goods: bringing in goods or any other article of a consumable or hazardous nature or firearms into the premises is strictly prohibited. The guest shall be liable and responsible financially or otherwise, for other guests, visitors, agents and staff, for any damage that may be caused by such articles due to non-observance of instructions.
  • Guests must have their own international travel and health insurance that covers any emergency cost or event while staying with us.
  • Children and adolescents under the age of 18 must show proper identification when accompanied by legally identified guardian.
  • The guest house does not have lifeguard & monitoring services for children and does not be liable for any eventualities involving minors in the premises or outside of the premises of the guest house, so making liability to the parents or legal responsible.

 

TRANSFERS

  • All transfers to and from the Airport is an outsourced service and are charged as an EXTRA COST and must be paid in the same time of the trip.
  • All the boat trips are conditioned to the weather conditions.
  • The Guest House will endeavor to fulfill guests travel requests as at the time of booking. However, due to the unreliable nature and limited options for transport to and from Male International Airport, The guest house will not be held responsible for delays of transportation, cancellation or any to circumstance made by any kind of transport vehicle & services, late arrival or non-arrival of surfboards or any other luggage.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is highly recommended to attend any of our camps or surf charters. You can use any travel insurance you wish although we recommend you to buy it with World Nomads Travel Insurance. Cancelation Insurance: This benefit provides compensation for the amount that the insured has paid for their trip in case of cancelation due to accident, illness, or death of a family member (up to the policy limit). The insurance covers your airplane tickets and the accommodation booked. Please refer to the link above for more information.

Payment Information

For this particular accommodation you are going to pay a 15% deposit to make your reservation.
