IMPOSSIBLES Surf Villa - Bukit Peninsula, Bali.

"This has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Simplistic yet incredibly luxurious, the staff are divine and the complete peace and escape had me planning my next trip back before I had even left. We only had three nights but next time it will be a week at least. Can not speak highly enough of the staff who were just wonderful and the beautiful sunsets left us speechless! The girls over the bar were friendly and efficient at all times! "We recently booked the 6 bedroom villa for a couple of nights at villa Impossibles on the bukit in Bali. We were all very excited and stoked on the location. Oceanside with plenty of places to lounge. Yes the stairs are long to get to there (so is anywhere your staying on the bukit) pack light or pay the ladies to carry your bag (give them some buisness?) this house was the highlight of our 1 month vacation. "This villa is completely worth the trek down. If possible pack light and if you're not in the best of shape, this villa may not be the pick for you. I highly suggest paying the porters at the top to carry your belongings, these ladies are strong and hardly break a sweat! The view is incredible!! You basically have a private beach. The staff is warm and welcoming. They really made our stay memorable. Each room has a picture perfect view of the ocean, not a bad way to wake up every morning! "If your idea of a holiday is to escape as far away from every day reality as possible – this villa is paradise. Waves literally crashing at your doorstep, the most spectacular sunsets and stunning pink sunrises, all to yourself. The relaxed feeling of camping under the stars, technology free, just time for lazing, swimming, reading and chatting, but in with a large comfortable bedroom to snuggle into at night. A little basic and remote as described (so make sure this is what you are after), however was pleased to find hot water is now connected, airconditioning in 6 rooms (not that its needed with the gorgeous sea breezes) and yoga mats in all cupboards is a nice touch. Villa staff are with you in the villa until 8pm each night (replaced with security later on) and are so happy to help with anything – amazing cooks, huge meals. Bintang, Smirnoff Ice and large bottled water is also available in plentiful supply inside the villa. Luggage porter service is provided by the Villa staff’s local family, and these are the same ladies who provide the in villa massages. For those not used to Bali, be relaxed. They will haggle with you on price, which can be tough if you arent used to this, and try to get more out of you but as long you make your price clear you will be fine (the way they carry that luggage up and down those stairs is amazing! Money well earned if you ask me!). Get to know them, they are all so lovely and enhanced our stay so much laughing and joking with them all. An amazing escape from reality. True paradise. I would just say make sure it’s the kind of holiday you are all after (I booked this for a group, and whilst it suited most, I may not have been everyone’s ideal location/style). Be open, be relaxed, chill out, embrace being in a more remote Bali and you will enjoy! Room Tip: All rooms face the ocean and have gorgeous views."
