Fijiøyene
Øygruppen i det sørlige Stillehavet, som en gang ble kjent som Kannibaløyene på grunn av de fryktede innbyggerne, er nå et av Oseanias mest populære reisemål. Øyene ble først bosatt av polynesierne og senere kolonisert av britene, og Fijiøyene ble satt på kartet av kaptein William Bligh, kjent fra «Mytteriet på Bounty». Øygruppen består av over 300 øyer og atoller. De to største er Viti og Vanua Leva, som begge har vulkansk opprinnelse og flere topper på over 3000 fot.
