Surfing
Medewi, Bali’s Finest Waves!
Medewi Beach is known as a world class break and is Bali’s internationally renowned surf spot.
The break is the longuest, glassy left hander in Bali that you often have all to yourself… Which is rare in Bali!
The wave offers a top variety of sizes and depending on the day conditions from beginner to decent intermediate level.
Medewi’s wave is not scary as the others reef spots and the bottom is made of boulders.
Come early to avoid onshore winds!
Of course, on the best surf spots of the Medewi point beach, Balian Beach and Yeh Sumbul beach.
The Surf lessons will start with some practical on land, they will teach theory, reading local waves, the rules of the lineup and detail instruction of all levels.
The coaches will give the best advice either for a beginner surfer or intermediate level and they will guide you
It will be a happy, a pleasant and safe stay.
Fishing
Our charming local guide will take you on the beach nearby the surf resort for a sea tour along the coast and fishing on a traditional fishing boat.

Buffalo race
« As agriculture area which its population is mostly farmer, Jembrana Regency it’s also known with population of their buffalo that is cultivated traditionally by rue local. Previously, the buffaloes are functioned for plowing the soil and platting the rice field before the planting season. It is usually done by the farmers in group, while testing the speed of their buffaloes in wet soil. »
Art of Jegog music
« Jegog which is an art of music of Jembrana, formerly is a traditional music in which its instruments are made of bamboo in huge sizes. It was created in 1912 by Kiyang Geliduh, an artist from Sebual Sub-Village, Jembrana Sub- District. »
Juwuk Manis Waterfall
« Juwuk Manis waterfall of15 meter high, is a lot visited by tourists. This place close by the Pangyangan village is located at the sides of Denpasar Gilimanuk highway, 50 km of Denpasar to the west. From Pangyangan Village, it is about 7 km to the north to arrive at Juwuk Manis Sub-Village. Then, to arrive at the waterfall, it is continued by walking on foot passing a path among the plantation of the local.
The interesting point of this waterfall, beside the high and its clear water, is also its environment which is still natural, pleasant, and beautiful. Thus, it is very interesting for those who love environmental conservation, adventured tourism including trekking, camping, etc. »
SITUATION & ACCÈS
Situation
Medewi is one of the less visited areas of Bali.
It’s a hot spot for surf and most of the visitors stay at this place for this reason.
For non-surfers, it shows how Bali was like before the growth of the tourism in back the 70’s.
But a great place to relax!
The high season is the dry season between April and September.
– Air temperatures are pretty same all year long with an average of 26-27°C.
– Water temperature average variates in the season between 25°C and 30°C.
