THE ACTIVITIES
Tipi Surf Experience Playa Venao
The 3 packages are suitable for everyone, minimum age 4, and offers a choice of either one 2 hour lesson per day, or two 1 hour lessons per day. Each lesson has two parts, theory / safety and practice. The first part is conveyed through illustrations and lots of examples.
Boards and Lycra are supplied during the lessons and unlimited use of surfboards is offered throughout the day.
Every instructor is assigned to a maximum of 3 guests for a personal approach and an outstanding experience.
Photo and video coaching is available for all levels upon request.
Beginner
More than a practice surf class, you will learn about the different elements that influence surfing conditions, like the weather, the shape of the bay and surf spot selection, and how they should be combined in order to have the ultimate surfing experience for your level. You will be taught about the correct position on a surf board, how to paddle into a wave, and the pop-up.
Intermediate
At this level you will start to learn how to read the line up, get a better positioning and start to catch quality green waves. The focus will be on the more technical aspects, your turns – frontside and backside, improving your timing and the way you handle an incoming wave, all during the best conditions according to your level of experience.
Advanced
You will learn about recognizing the surf spots suitable to your level and the technical details to manage more radical or challenging maneuvers and tricks. The surf spots in Playa Venao or nearby, depending on weather conditions, will allow you to chase beach breaks and point breaks, discovering all that Mother Nature has to offer.
You can add other activities to your stay !
We organize : Isla Iguana Tour, Isla Canas Tour, Fishing Tour, Whales and Turtles Tour, trip to Waterfalls, Yoga class and massage.

Playa Venao is a place of incredible biodiversity. Playa Venao is a place that is still very wild where vegetation and animals are everywhere
The nearest “town” is Pedasi ( 22km) you have there different supermarket, pharmacy, hospital… all the amenities of a little city 🙂
Getting Here
By plane you will arrive to Panama City.
Panama city to Playa Venao it’s 356km ( 5/6 h in car/bus)
Public Bus – Panama City – Playa Venao = 15 dollars
Shuttle – Panama City – Playa Venao = 40 dollars

The 8 days / 7 nights package includes:

The 11 days / 10 nights package includes:
- 10 nights at your Tipi hostel
