INTRODUCTION
Praia de Esmoriz Surf Camp is located in a fisherman’s town, integrated into a pine forest area with and many miles of white sand and lots of perfect waves. It is a sublime spot just 30 minutes from Oporto city in the north of Portugal. 15 minutes walk from the beach, 3 minutes from convenience stores and bars.
After joining Praia de Esmoriz Surf Camp you will become part of a family with a lifestyle of surfers who loves nature sports, here you will learn how to surf in an idyllic environment, with an excellent team available for you 24 hours a day.
Guided surf tours are included in the package and take place from Monday to Friday. The surf spots we head for are graded according to various surf levels and selected depending on the tide, swell and wind conditions. Other activities such as snooker, table football, bicycle tours, skateboards, etc.

THE ACTIVITIES
Super consistent and varied stretch of coastline with the ancient town of Porto sitting in the heart of the region, there’s also plenty to do and see when it’s flat.
Surf
We find in this region a very high number of high-quality beach breaks and pier waves with very high frequency. Waves for all levels, from the beginner as well to the most intrepid waves hunters. You can easily find yourself surfing a peak alone or with your friends.
Surely, the Portuguese coast has the highest frequency of waves throughout Europe, even in summer, the swells are frequent. Indeed quality waves insured!

Getting Here
Transfer
We can arrange a transfer for you. Our driver will be then waiting for you when you come out of the baggage hall at the airport for an extra price.
Car
It takes about 40 minutes from the airport by car to reach the Surf Camp. We have free parking spaces on the street in front of the surf camp.
Public Transport (Metro & Train)
From the airport, you catch the Metro to Porto – Campanha (40min)
From Porto – Campanha you catch the Train ‘urbano’ in the direction of Aveiro or Ovar and get out in Esmoriz. (30 min)
We can pick you up from the train station in Esmoriz. Just give us a call when you are in the metro and it’s leaving from the airport, then we can make sure one of us can pick you up.
