INTRODUCTION
We’ve created a playground for holiday wanderers to be active, make friends and chill out.
Our home provides us with everything we need to create a unique surf camp experience for single travellers, couples and friends.
We’re located in the beautiful little fishing town of Praia da Tocha, where you can’t only find uncrowded waves, but also genuine Portuguese restaurants, bars and live music.
Surf camp in tipi tents (shared or private), right by the beach, with all commodities (kitchen, chill areas, swimming pool, etc.). Surf lessons for beginners and intermediates, yoga lessons, massages, and more activities to be offered.
We can’t wait to meet you and introduce you to our light and social way of life at our place!
THE ACCOMMODATION
Here you can choose between three different accommodation options: Our shared tipi tents have 4 single beds, in our private tipi tents for 2 you’ll find a double bed and our private tipi for one comes with one single bed. All tent options come with electricity, lights and a set of dishes for every person. We’ll also provide bedding and linen, so leave your big luggage at home and travel easy.
In our community area you’ll find an open and equipped kitchen with a shared fridge and several hobs. Visit our surf camp bar to grab a refreshing drink after a long, sunny day on the beach and enjoy our surf photographers presenting you the shots of the day at the local hang-out. For physical and mental well-being we invite you to our relax zone where we offer Ayurvedic massages. At night, gather around the campfire with the other guests and the crew to share a moment of camp stories and laughter.
Our surf camp package includes a breakfast buffet and on five evenings per week, our chef will cook international dishes accompanied by fresh salad and dessert. We cater for vegetarian and vegan diets, too. Two days a week we’ll give you the opportunity to join our organised trips to a local restaurant and the city of Porto to dive into the Portuguese culture.

LOCATION & GETTING HERE
Location
Our surf camp is based in the beautiful little fishing town Praia da Tocha in Portugal Centro. Tocha is hidden in the middle of pine forests directly by the beach and is part of the 297km long Coastline between Aveiro and Peniche with some of the best waves in Europe. Here you’ll find long stretches of uncrowded beaches mixed with some genuine Portuguese culture and traditional architecture.
Getting Here
If you’re travelling by public transport, take the metro or the bus to Aveiro. From there you can either grab another bus to Tocha (leaves only once a day at 17 o’clock) or get an Uber for approx. 35-40 €. We offer free shuttles from Tocha to the surf camp, just let us know your planned arrival time and we’ll arrange the rest for you!
If you rather want to take a taxi from the airport to the surf camp, the costs are between 80-100 € per car.
PRICES & PACKAGES
We offer three different packages:
- White Water: This is the package for you, if you have never tried surfing or still consider yourself a real beginner. We’ll take you through all basics and make sure you’re safe whenever you hit the ocean. This package includes 5 days of surf lessons.
- Green Waves: This package is suited for everybody who already has basic surf knowledge and wants to take their surfing to the next level. This package includes 5 days of surf coaching and 1 video analysis session individually for you.
- Sea & Soul: If you want to give your body some special attention while enjoying the Portuguese summer and the waves of the Atlantic, this is the right deal for you. This package includes 5 days of beginner surf lessons, 5 days of yoga and 1 Ayurvedic massage of 60 min.
All packages include:
- 7 nights in a spacious and fully equipped tipi tent of your choice
- Breakfast buffet with home-made daily specials
- 5x dinner including salad and a dessert
- Use of the surf equipment (surfboards & wetsuits) throughout the whole stay
- Surf lesson insurance
- Use of all facilities of the surf camp and the campsite
