INTRODUCTION
From Playa Maderas Infinity Pool Surf Villa, you have only 15 minutes walk down an incredible jungle path to a beautiful surfing beach and one of the most consistent waves in Nicaraguá. Playa Maderas is within easy access from Managua Airport, only 2,5 hours drive and is 9km north of Nicaragua´s surfing and party capital – San Juan Del Sur.
The area is home to a wide variety of surf spots and with over 330 days of offshore winds offers year-round swells for all levels. No matter how good you are you will improve your skills and have a lot of fun. Big hollow waves, as well as smooth beach breaks, are a drive away from our Villa, but we also organize surfaris and boat trips for more experienced surfers to ride their dream waves.
The Playa Maderas Infinity Pool Surf Villa is on top of a hill overlooking the Pacific ocean, Playa Maderas, and the jungle, a large 2 level building with a big common area to socialize, projector for exciting surf movies, loungers by the infinity pool to relax and also check conditions beyond comfortable beds, beautiful showers, and a plus with magnificent sunset views.

Playa Maderas Infinity Pool Surf Villa
Our surf resort resides in a spacious villa high up in the hills over Playa Maderas. You’ll reach it in no time with our 4×4 shuttle or in 15min on foot from the bottom of the hill. You can choose to stay in group bungalows, luxurious apartments, or private glamping tents. Overlooking the jungle and the Pacific ocean, the amenities of the villa offer the maximum amount of relaxation for our guests.

From Maderas down to Playa Remanso, Tamarindo, Playa Hermosa, El Yankee, and even Playa Escameca. You will have such a great time with our local instructors, they are all very experienced and patient. For the most adventures one, we offer trips on demand to famous spots up north such as Manzanillo, Panga Drops, Colorado, and Playgrounds.

Getting Here
Fly to Managua Airport (Nicaragua) is the best option, in case that it is not possible, we also offer transfer to/from Liberia Airport(Costa Rica.
Nicaragua Visas
Tourist tax of USD10 at the airport and you can get a 90-day tourist visa upon arrival in Nicaragua, you you need a passaport valid for at leat 6 months after your departure date.
Surfboards
More than 3 boards is considered imports and will be charged USD100 per extra board. No wetsuit needed even in winter time.
Cordoba, foreign currencies, and credit cards
The local currency is the Nicaraguan Cordoba but US dollars are also accepted. There are a lot of ATMs around San Juan del Sur and any major city in the area, from most it’s possible to withdraw both Cordobas and US dollars.
