Conil Yoga Surf Camp<\/h1>\n

\nLocated in\u00a0Conil<\/strong>, the\u00a0Surf<\/strong>\u00a0Camp<\/strong>\u00a0lies halfway between the wind Mecca of Tarifa and the ancient Phoenician town of Cadiz. Still overlooked by many travelling surfers, this stretch of Atlantic coastline known as \u201cCosta de la Luz\u201d has some of the\u00a0best<\/strong>\u00a0surf<\/strong>\u00a0in<\/strong>\u00a0Spain<\/strong>. Big\u00a0clean<\/strong>\u00a0swells<\/strong>\u00a0hit on a regular basis along the coast most of the year.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Surf<\/strong>\u00a0School<\/strong>\u00a0operates both in\u00a0Conil<\/strong>\u00a0and neighbouring El Palmar, according to swell conditions, while accommodation is in self catering apartments in the lively fishing village of Conil. Transport from accommodation to the beach is serviced by the camp. Catering for all surfing levels, the School is run by qualified surf instructors and lifeguards.<\/p>\n

The surf school operates in both\u00a0Conil<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0El<\/strong>\u00a0Palmar<\/strong>, depending on the waves, wind and weather conditions. It is run by BSA & GSF\u00a0qualified<\/strong>\u00a0surfing<\/strong>\u00a0instructors<\/strong>\u00a0and fully\u00a0qualified<\/strong>\u00a0lifeguards<\/strong>. They also speak fluent\u00a0Spanish<\/strong>,\u00a0English<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0German<\/strong>. The school cater for\u00a0all<\/strong>\u00a0levels<\/strong>\u00a0of<\/strong>\u00a0surf<\/strong>, from beginners to advanced. All equipment is of the highest standard.<\/p>\n

Surf Spots<\/strong><\/p>\n

Conil\/El Palmar<\/strong>\u00a0situated within the diversity of the coastline, from mellow\u00a0to powerful beach breaks to long walled up reefs and point breaks. The majority of the swell received is\u00a0ground\u00a0swell<\/strong>,\u00a0well<\/strong>\u00a0ordered<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0powerful<\/strong>. These swells\u00a0comes\u00a0out of nowhere and can build up within a day to four feet and last for weeks.<\/p>\n

Due to the rugged shape of the coastline, there are several bend and twists ensuring that you will always be able to find a clean wave somewhere. The crowd factor is also a plus here as the coast is still lightly surfed and there is no strong \u201clocalism\u201d yet. The lack of crowd – except on weekends – make this region a haven for foreign surfers.<\/p>\n

Mysore Ashtanga Yoga Sessions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our teacher Curro will learn you “The\u00a0Mysore<\/strong>\u00a0style<\/strong>\u00a0of<\/strong>\u00a0yoga<\/strong>\u00a0Asana”\u00a0which is a particular way of teaching\u00a0Yoga<\/strong>\u00a0within\u00a0Ashtanga<\/strong>\u00a0Yoga<\/strong>\u00a0tradition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It’s a different method of Yoga classes where:<\/strong>
\n– All the instruction is given one-on-one within the group class setting students to practice their own portion of the Ashtanga sequence.\u00a0
