Although this part of the coast is facing north, the area is shadowed by Scotland\u2019s north coast that blocks most of the swell that comes to this direction. The best chance of waves is when big north or northeast swells bend the coast creating fickle but epic waves. This happens mostly during autumn and winter time so be prepared for the cold.
