INTRODUCTION
Be prepared for your summer to be exciting because you’re going to Glamping Surf & Yoga Camp France! The original and famous surf camp is pitched in the stunning pine forests of Southwest France with the beautiful white beaches and the lively town centre of Moliets just outside our campsite.
The wave conditions around Moliets Plage are great for everyone either learning to surf or wanting to improve their existing surf skills. And with the qualified team of international surf instructors, you can be sure to be in good hands and learning from the best!
The surf camp is great for single travellers, students, small and large groups and anyone looking for as much excitement out of the water as in it. After a sunny day on the beach surfing, the surf camp has several chill-out areas, hammocks and sun loungers for you to hang out in with your friends or to make new ones.
The outdoor cinema arena and infamous tarp surfing event are just two of many things that will make your surfing holiday unforgettable! So bring your friends and a big smile to a fantastic surf week of sun, fun, surfing and good vibes in surf camp Moliets!
THE ACCOMMODATION
Campsite
Made up of stylish bell tents, a large shaded eating area, a skate ramp, a brand new three-tier outdoor cinema arena, multiple chill-out areas with hammocks and sun loungers, surf equipment and storage tents, a surf theory shack and enough coloured lights to turn the night into day, we’re prepared to make your surf holiday LEGEN… wait for it… DARY!
There’s table tennis, balance trainers, skate- and longboards for you and many other things to keep you stoked, entertained and smiling.
The surf camp is part of a much bigger campsite that plays host to other surf camps and holiday makers. It is equipped with numerous bathroom and shower facilities, sinks and mirrors that are available 24/7. On this campsite, you’ll also find a football/ basketball, a tennis and a volleyball court all to use for free.
The Taste of Goodlife
For your Surf & Yoga Camp France breakfast, you will have a delicious buffet that includes a variation of tea, coffee, juices, milk, cereals, honey, jam, fresh and crispy traditional French baguette, a large selection of cheeses, hams, salamis and other spreads, fresh fruit, tasty croissants, sweet and savoury crêpes and more delicious baked treats. You also get to take whatever you can’t try in the mornings as a picnic lunch for your day out surfing!
Six nights out of your surf holiday week, we’ll serve you a hearty dinner with variations of desserts. The camps hosts also love a good BBQ, so once a week, there will be the coals burning and the good summer vibes flowing for the delicious tarp surfing BBQ feast.
On the chef’s night off, you are highly recommended to join the ‘Tapas, Sangria & Party Tour’ to San Sebastián which is one of the culinary and social highlights of the surf camp week in Moliets!

THE ACTIVITIES
Surf Lessons
Surf & Yoga Camp France is known for its enthusiastic, professional and fun approach to teaching surfing. The international surf team of professional surf instructors doesn’t simply watch you from the beach, but gets in the water with you to help you catch the best waves – sharing their stoke with you!
Surf & Explore
For those, you are experienced and comfortable with catching waves on their own. The packages does not include lessons, however, then the boards are not used for lessons, you will be able to use the equipment for free.
Surf & Relax
Each week, you’ll receive 12 hours of surf tuition. This includes theory sessions in the surf camp as well as lots of time surfing the amazing waves of Moliets Plage, the beach just outside the campsite. The maximum group size for each surf lesson is eight surfers per one to two surf instructors. The surf equipment (surfboards, leashes, and wetsuits) is free to use within the surf lessons and free to use upon availability outside of them.
Surf & Relax Upgrade
Book Surf & Relax UPGRADE together with your surf package and get 4 hours of additional surf lessons. Beat the crowds during morning and sunset surf sessions together with our expert surf team! Suited for both surf beginners and intermediate surfers, the Surf & Relax UPGRADE gets you more personal time with your surf instructor to improve your surfing. The is also FREE surf photography with our upgrade, which gets you that glorious Facebook gold to show off with!
Campsite Activities
The campsite features: a skate ramp, a brand new three-tier outdoor cinema arena, multiple chill-out areas with hammocks and sun loungers, surf equipment.
On top of that, there’s plenty more to do in- and outside the surf camp: Try the outdoor balance trainers, conquer the skate ramp, kick someone’s ass at table tennis, challenge the staff to a volleyball/ football/ basketball match!
Enjoy a starlit outdoor surf camp movie night, indulge in the famous tarp surfing BBQ, have a sunset session on the beach just outside the surf camp with music and drinks and give you many, many other fantastic opportunities to mix and mingle with others surf holiday guests.
Tapas, Sangria & Party’-Tour to San Sebastián
Just 20 kilometers south of the French boarder, along with the crystal clear coast of the beautiful Bay of Biscay, lies the vibrant city of San Sebastián.
Its gorgeous harbor, lively city center and grand Spanish plazas give the city a glamorous and sophisticated atmosphere by day, while uncountable busy tapas bars and numerous energetic night clubs make for its flirtatious and crazy vibe at night. Join on this fantastic day trip away from the surf to this city we’re sure you gonna fall in love with!
Leaving the surf camp after your surf lessons, we start our San Seb trip in the afternoon with cool sangrias, delicious tapas and a tour around the old part of town and its bars.
You’ll have enough free time to explore the city on your own, go shopping, stroll through the quaint, little streets or see the stunning cathedral before we make our way up to gorgeous Monte Urgull.
Overlooking San Seb’s breath-taking bay, the top of this hill makes for the ultimate starting point to a perfect night out! With a drink in your hand and a big smile on your face, watch an incredible sunset and get ready to hit the bars, night clubs and to party all night long!

Location
Surf & Yoga Camp France is located in Moliets Plage on the southwest coast of France, just north of Hossegor, close to the Basque Country and northern Spain.
Moliets is located just 25 mins from Hossegor. 35 mins from DAX train station and 55 mins from Biarritz International Aiport.
The main area of Moliets is known as Moliets plage, a vast Garden City (an expression, not an actual city), where the local Architects and Town planners have completed a very beautiful job of laying out the area using as much as possible the original pine forests, planted palms, other trees & shrubs to add to its looks.
South West of France is known for it s beautiful seas side scenery. Endless sandy beaches and countless pine trees make a perfect setting for summer camping and unforgettable nights under the stars.
Getting Here
In Surf & Yoga Camp France the arrival day is Saturdays when we run surf camp shuttles to and from Biarritz airport, Biarritz train station and Dax train station, San Sébastian and Bordeaux:
Pick Up Timetable (price per person):
- Biarritz airport (35€): 10:00 & 16:00
- Dax train station (25€): 11:00 & 14:00 & 18:00
- Bordeaux airport (55€): up to three times each Saturday upon request.
Drop-offs timetable:
- Leaves surf camp for Biarritz (35€): 07:00 & 12:00
- Leaves surf camp for Dax (25€): 09:00 & 13:00 & 17:00
- Leaves surf camp for Bordeaux (55€): up to three times each Saturday upon request.
Please note that times might vary each surf camp week as we try to adjust our weekly surf camp shuttle schedule to accommodate all surf holiday guests’ arrival and departure times as best as possible. Please also note that, should you wish to arrive/ leave the surf camp on any other day than Saturday, a 20€ surcharge per transfer applies.
