You dream of surfing on the Atlantic coast?
Beginners, advanced or expert surfers, Messanges surf school offers surf-camps on the french Landes coast. Several surf camp options available to you. With friends or Family, come and enjoy the beaches, waves and good atmosphere!!
Our Surf School obtained the national mark QUALITE TOURISME ™ in accordance with a national quality procedure. We took fixed commitments on the long term for your comfort and wellness as well as for the quality of the service and instruction. Fun and progress guaranteed in total safety and serenity!
20km from the European capital of surfing Hossegor and about 60km from Biarritz, our little village situated on the Landes coast, close to Vieux-Boucau Moliets and Azur, offers its preserved and wild beaches at the Atlantic Ocean and its mythical waves.
Whatever your level, you will take great pleasure to surf the waves. Learning surf is a great way to become familiar with the ocean and taste the magic sensations of surfing…
Children under 18 years old must be accompanied.
THE ACCOMMODATION
Several surf camp options available to you. With friends (adults) or Family, come and enjoy the beaches, waves and good atmosphere!!
You will be hosted in the heart of Landes, 100 m of the marine lake, 900m from the ocean and at the edge of the Landes forest.
Surf Camps available with full board; under canvas or in bedrooms. 20 rooms from 2 to 6 beds and 3 tents of 8 places is 24 beds from June to August.
At your disposal: Wooded area of 5000m², covered terrace, dining room, 1 63m² room, a covered sitting area, table tennis, TV.
THE ACTIVITIES
Surf Course
- 5-day Surf course with 1:30 hours of daily surfing with experienced instructors
- Rip Curl wetsuits adapted to climatic conditions (full and short suits all sizes)
- Surfboards adapted to your own level. From shortboards to longboards, foam or resin, we will make you happy!!!
- The times for surf tuitions are planned according to the tides.
After the sessions, you are free and will enjoy your holiday time by relaxing on the beach in font of beautiful sunsets, practicing other activities such as skateboarding, table tennis, partying…).
You can also go for additional sports activities (not included in price) such as horse riding, sailing, etc..), visiting villages and discover all the best the Landes coast can offer (shopping, local markets, live music, shows …)
Let yourself be charmed by nature, lakes and forests, in the nearby of Moliets and Hossegor. Forget about your car, you will use a bicycle to go from the holiday center to the surf school and use it any time during your stay.

Location
On the beautiful Landes Coast in the South West of France. Next to Hossegor, less than 1 hour to Biarritz.
Getting Here
By car: Highway A63 from Bordeaux -exit St Geours de Marine no. 9 – travel through Soustons – take direction of Vieux-Boucau
By train: Nearest stations are Saint-Vincent de Tyros and Dax stations – Dax is only 4 hours from Paris by TGV ! Buses from the RDTL bus company can drive you from Dax to Messanges (line no.6)
By sea: ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao and Plymouth to Santander.
By plane: several regular lines and low cost flights (Easyjet & Ryanair) from many places in Europe to Biarritz (60km) or Bordeaux (150km)
Green advise: Prefer the train or carpooling ! On spot, you can easily get around by bike on the numerous cycle paths.
