Surfing Keramas and More

Sometimes the wave at Keramas can barrel all the way long. Otherwise, the wave leaves an open canvas for progressive moves and large punts on the steeper shut-down end section. Keramas is tidally sensitive. Works best on higher, incoming tides with light morning land breezes.

Head out to tackle the four surf breaks right out the front or take a stand up paddleboard out for a ride. When the tide pulls low the rock pools and crystal clear lagoon are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Night Surfing 

The Resort offers a world first permanent night surfing installation right in front of the resort. You can enjoy the amazing spectacle of surfers battling the waves at night, or even book a night surf for yourself under powerful floodlights.

Bookings ensure there are only 6 surfers sharing the waves each night, so you can enjoy the powerful right-hand reef breaks off Keramas reef without the crowds. A world-class break, Karamas provides some fantastic waves with deep tube rides just 50 meters offshore.

The Night surf shows are on every night from 7 pm to midnight, as well as 4 am to 6 am for those who like a truly early morning surf. Many nights feature a night surfing display put on by one of the local Bali Boardriders clubs, which include some of the world’s best surfers.

Health Hub and Spa

Whilst being committed to it’s surfing roots, the resort also addresses the demand for further health and wellness experiences, which makes it one of Bali’s premier destination for active escapes.

The goal is to provide all the facilities and an amazing class schedule for our guests to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle while on holiday. A wide variety of fitness and yoga classes are offered daily.

Beach Club and Outdoor Cinema

After a short walk through Resort’s organic gardens on a sandy beach path lined with an array of tropical fruits, guests stare in amazement at their first glimpse of the majestic Keramas surf break which makes the stunning backdrop for the Beach Club. 

The Beach Club at the famous Keramas surf beach is designed as your all day place to hang, re-charge and party. When the tide pulls low the rock pools and crystal clear lagoon are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, there’s plenty of great food choices. Simple, tasty and fresh is the mantra here. Evening sets the scene for a different dining experience set under the starlight with your feet in the sand.

The Beach Club includes a beachfront outdoor cinema set among the coconut trees of Keramas with views over the ocean, restaurant and bar. The Beach Club live streams weekly webcasts of the latest surfing and sporting events when available. The highlights from the days or weeks surfing are blasted on the big screen for all too see, as well as regular screenings of latest release movies for your viewing pleasure.
