Our Fuerteventura Wind and Kitesurf Center consists of private 46 apartments on the beach with beautiful seaviews and views to the Island of Labos, awesome bar, and Kite and surfschool

All apartments have a little kitchen, shower and double bedroom 

There is a Bike Rental at Recepcion (to center about 10 minutes cycling) 

Taxis are available 24 h, cost to any place in center Corralejo 3 € 

Walking to center  takes  about 25  minutes

The Accommodation

47 studios and 8 apartments distributed in 4 blocks , most of them with excellent panoramic views. From the swimming pools, there are splendid views. Separate pools for adults and children. IRISH BAR– The Irish Bar opens from 18:00 ‘ till 24:00, has got a giant screen on which you can enjoy all of the big sporting events along with its “Happy Hours” and snacks.

POOL BAR– There pool bar is open from 09.00 – 18.00 with services of snacks and drinks

SWIMMING POOLS– 2 Adult swimming pools (one of which is acclimatised) and 1 pool for children, all of which have sun terraces with sun loungers and sun umbrellas

SPORTS FACILITIES– Table Tennis table, pool table and a small mini-golf course

The Windsurfing and Kitesurfing

KITESURF COURSE

Beginner Course

DAY 1
Today you will learn the theory of the wind and how to set up your equipment. You will get to fly a training kite and after a 2-line-kite. Later you will learn some basic safety systems and how to pack down your equipment.

DAY 2
Now it is time to get familiar with the kites that you will be using on the water. You will learn all about the control of the 4-line kite and bar, theory about relaunching from the water and you will get prepared to go in the water.

DAY 3
You will fly the kite in the water and practise body dragging, launching and landing alone on the beach and in the water, board recovery and self rescue.

DAY 4
This is the last day of your course and it is time to get on the board. First you will practise on land to get the feel for the board start and then you move on to the water. It might take a few attempts but soon you will be up on the board riding. - You are now a independent kiteboarder

Advanced

During this course you will learn how to manage your practical area, and will be able to choose your equipment. You ride with more powerful kites and will learn the basics of edge control and upwind riding. Receive advise and tips from your instructor to control your direction and power. According to what you want, discover how to ride Twin Tips, Wakeboards or jibing a directional or Mutant board.

      

KITESURF

The wind is predominantly cross-shore and Flag beach is the start of some 6-7 km of white sand, where we have about 3 km for kitesurfing. The best months for kitesurfing are March to November. This is when the sea tends to be flat and the wind consistent. During the winter months the sea is tougher and wavy, and we have different wind directions like onshore, offshore etc and so the only way to guarantee course completion is by using a boat. All course are then taught regardless of wind direction and teaching from a boat gives us the flexibility to move around the island to the most suitable location. Courses are run on a continual basis with groups of not more than 4 people per instructor on the beach part of the course 

WINDSURF

The beach offers good cross-shore -from the left- conditions from March-April through to August-September. It is generally wavier for the first couple of months with the remains of the winter swells, however from May onwards the waves disappear and flat slalom conditions prevail. Although the winter months statistically have less windy days at Flag Beach, there can be better locations within easy reach that have wind for the more advanced sailor. We offer a wide range of tuition, from beginner up to advanced.

 

SURF COURSES

You will all paddle together, and your instructor will be there to help you and guide you the whole time. Once you stand up on your board for the first time, you will finally understand why surfers are so stoked all times.

All our lessons are 2 to 3 hours long and include all equipment. Beginner lessons will start with a 20 minute instruction on the beach, and after that... it's time to get wet!

The groups are with maximum of 5 people.

SURFING AREA

The northern tip of the island around Corralejo, just across from Lanzarote Island, is the main surfing area on the island, with miles sandy beach and reef breaks on both the western and eastern shores.  In general, surf spots are well away from any tourist activity and only frequented by surfers. Waves are long and perfect and most are reef breaks. There are also very long sandy beaches, perfect for beginners.

Fuerteventura

The Center

The surf centre is situated just south of Corralejo on the miles long sandy beach bordered by large sand dunes of Dunas de Corralejo Natural Park, in the northern part of the island paradise of Fuerteventura. The area offers relaxation, sports, bars and terrace cafes, discotheques and night clubs, excellent shopping centers with a variety of shops, areas for strolling, marina, and passenger boats with regular departures to Lanzarote and the Island of Los Lobos, etc. The complex is located directly on the beach front, adjoining the unequaled Grand Beaches of the Corralejo Dunes National Park, and only 15 minutes walk from the center of Corralejo.

Corralejo

A former fishing village converted into a modern resort, Corralejo has managed to preserve its charm and has a "surfing" atmosphere, with lots of surf shops, bars and restaurants. A popular destination with surfer is a boat day-trip to the small desert island of Isla de Lobos, just off the coast in front of Corralejo - a ferry leaves daily at 10 am and returns at 4 PM. From the jetty on Lobos, it is a long walk over to the spot. Named after its population of sea wolves, the island of Lobos is uninhabited and the wave breaks along the base of an old volcano.

Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is the second largest island but least populated of the Canarian archipelago. Ninety kilometres off Morocco and the African coast, it also enjoys the best climate of all the islands. The large number of sunny days and minimal rainfalls, as well as the topography of the terrain, has created Europe's only desert. Fuerteventura has the longest beach of the archipelago, formed by fine white sand from the nearby Sahara desert.

The island boasts three natural parks: the Dunas de Corralejo and Isla de Lobos to the north and the Jandia Peninsula to the south. In total, 40% of the island has been declared a national park and its natural state has been almost completely preserved.

Canary Islands

Known as the ”Fortunate Islands”, the Canary Islands enjoy a permanent spring like, subtropical climate cooled by the Ocean breeze and the Trade Winds, with warm waters and consistent swell most of the year. Off the coast of Morocco, Spanish territory and outpost of the European Union, the Canary Islands are but a two hour flight from Madrid and the mainland. The "Hawaii of the Atlantic", as the islands are referred to by surfers, this volcanic archipelago is formed by seven islands. Main surf destinations are the two major islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, and the less populated islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

Sub tropical, with warm winters and hot summers. Warm waters all year ! Best waves in winter, when the north and western swells come in.
