A Mecca for travelling surfers, G-Land is a magical place of primitive beauty and perfect waves nestling in a secluded location on the southernmost tip of the island of Java. On the legendary Grajagan Bay, across the strait from Bali, G-Land Jungle Surf Camp lies between the forest and the beach, directly in front of the famous reefbreak of Speedies.
Surfers are taken daily by boat to the most suitable break according to their level and swell conditions. Free standing bungalows accommodation with private bathrooms and a central pavilion with bar, dining room and lounge offer a perfect retreat for those in search of the ultimate surf adventure.
The Camp

Free standing bungalow camp between jungle and beach line. Central pavilion with bar, dining room and leather sofa lounge with 36’ TV surround sound system to enjoy movies and international channels. Pool tables, fuss ball, tennis table. Fishing gears and bicycles rental. Massage service, surf guides and doctors. Generous daily menus featuring a nice mix of Western and Indonesian cuisine will revitalise your energy for the next surf session!

The Surf

Surfers are taken daily by boat to the most suitable break according to their level and swell conditions.
Surf Spots
Although waves at G-Land are suitable for all levels, the accomplish surfer will find here deep barrels with perfect walls reeling down this endless point and score some of the longest rides of their life. These stunning breaks were the stage for the ASP World Championship three years in a row.
G-Land is arguably one of the world’s best left-hander, reputed for its established offshore trade winds. From March to November, the Indian Ocean generates strong swells, providing G-Land with one of the world’s most consistent breaks. There are 7 breaks in G-Land and the 3 most famous ones are Kong, Money Trees and Speedies.

The Island
G-Land & Bali
A trip to G-Land can perfectly be combined with a stay in Bali. Although on the island of Java, G-Land is right in front of Bali and campers are picked up at Bali Airport. Bali may no longer be the "last frontier" surf destination it used to be, but it still lies at the heart of the Indonesian surf experience, the quality of its waves and the "Bali Hai" lifestyle attracting surfers from all over the world. Bali has over twenty top-quality breaks on the Southwest and Southeast coasts of the island and around the Bukit Peninsula. Bali is an island of high volcanoes, rice fields, majestic temples and beautiful beaches which has maintained its traditions very well alive, but you will equally find McDonalds, surfshops, cheap restaurants, bars and plenty of nightlife in Kuta.
The Trip

Now, you have better access trip overland via speedboat at Grajagan Village to G-Land camp...faster and more comfy than overland through the rough jungle, by speedboat it took only 25-30 mins...save lots of travel time !!

Bali Denpasar International Airport (DPS)
Garuda, Singapore, Qantas + major airlines
A minibus of the camp will pick campers up at Bali Airport/Hotel. Overnight drive and ferry crossing to the neighbouring island of Java and speedboat transfer to G-Land. Same for the way back to Bali.
One month visa necessary for most countries (issued at your local Indonesian embassy). Malaria treatment required.
